Caitlin Jones (New York Casting Director) and Rance Wright (New York Performance Coach) are giving a FREE Online FORUM on “The Difference Between On-Camera and Theater Auditions”. We all have questions about TV and Theater auditions and how they differ in the eyes of the Casting Director and those from behind the table. In this class Rance and Caitlin will answer the very difficult questions regarding those two subjects.
This forum will last about an hour long. So join on Tuesday, April 21st at 6:00pm EST for what promises to be a very exciting hour about all things TV and THEATER AUDITIONS.

Caitlin Jones, CSA has worked on hundreds of commercial castings since getting her start in 2008. Her passion for casting expanded into the television and independent film genres.
Caitlin comes from a comedy background having completed all four levels of Improvisation at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre NY in 2009. In the spirit of “yes, and,” Caitlin’s work reflects her commitment to champion diversity, inclusion, and casting that accurately reflects the modern world in which we live. Working as Associate Casting Director for FX’s POSE by Ryan Murphy, Caitlin helped feature the most inclusive and authentic LGBTQ+ cast on television and recently won the ARTIOS for her work on the show.
Always willing to go the extra mile, Caitlin has cast in New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, Austin, Dallas, Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Wilmington (NC), San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, and New Orleans.
Caitlin is a proud member of the Television Academy, Commercial Casting Directors Association, The AICP, and Casting Society of America’s Diversity Committee and since 2016, Caitlin has served the CSA as an Associate National Board Member.

Rance Wright received his MFA and MM from the Boston Conservatory and holds a BFA in Music, Dance and Theatre from Brigham Young University. He is an accomplished performing arts professional with over 20 years of experience as a consultant, casting director, manager and artist. His most recent credits include associate casting the national tours of Guys and Dolls, Grinch, and A Christmas Story alongside NY casting veteran Alison Franck of Franck Casting. Rance also recently had his Fringe associate directorial debut in “A Step Beyond The Rain”. Rance currently guides acting for the stage and directs shows at the American Musical Theatre Academy in New York City.
In 2015 Rance created a performing arts program for Turn Community Services in Utah helping advance communication skill sets for adults with special needs. His unique style and creativity are the perfect combination for very successful learning initiatives.
As a musical theatre artist, Rance’s credits include numerous Off- Broadway shows, National tours, and regional productions.
Rance foresaw a need to help others gain a greater knowledge and understand- ing of their talent and art; that desire combined with his entrepreneurial spirit quickly lead to the birth of The Wright Way Coaching which is now a part of Wright Way Productions, LLC.
Rance’s personal and professional experiences along with his ability to see the talent and creativity in others has transcended his focus to furthering the knowledge and understanding of theatre, music, and dance for adult and young per- formers alike. Recognized professionally as one of the leaders in artists career development and utilizing “communication through theatre” for the personal advancement of professional artists and special needs adults are quickly becoming hallmarks of his career.
